Whitney Wildcats varsity boys and girls teams win Sierra Foothill League finals
Whitney Wildcats’ varsity boys’ and girls’ teams both won league titles at the Sierra Foothill League finals last Friday, with the boys totaling 159 points and the girls finishing at 174 points. Senior Xavier Bruce II won both the 100- and 200-meter races on the boys' side, while on the girls' side, Ashanti Elie won the 100 meter race, high jump and was part of the 4x100-meter team that won with a time of 49.13 seconds. The Wildcats also had individual champions in several other events.
