2 Time IBF Junior Lightweight and WBA Lightweight Champion Tony The Tiger Lopez

Tony "The Tiger" Lopez is a retired American professional boxer who was born on December 26, 1968, in Sacramento, California. He was a three-time world champion, having won titles in the super featherweight and lightweight divisions.

Lopez began his professional boxing career in 1985 and quickly established himself as a formidable fighter, earning a reputation for his toughness and punching power. He won his first world title, the IBF super featherweight title, in 1988 when he defeated Rocky Lockridge in a 15-round decision.

Lopez successfully defended his title three times before moving up in weight to the lightweight division, where he won the WBA lightweight title in 1992 by defeating Joey Gamache. He defended the title twice before losing it to Jorge Paez in a close fight in 1994.

Despite the loss, Lopez continued to fight at a high level and won the NABF lightweight title in 1995. He retired in 1999 with a professional record of 50 wins (34 by knockout), 8 losses, and 1 draw.

Lopez was known for his aggressive style and his ability to take a punch. He was also a fan favorite, known for his charisma and his trademark catchphrase, "It's tiger time!"
